JOBS AVAILABLE:

YARD: Washing pumpkins, picking up trash in parking lot and around the Fun Farm, directing traffic in parking lot, assist retail with mum/pumpkin carry out, attend to animals (feed, cleaning stalls), cleaning bathrooms, taking trash to dumpster, clear and wash picnic tables, anything Tommy may need help with. Checking animals daily before tours for any out of place items. Spreading hay, attending to campfires, watering mums and providing customer service. Report any animal injury immediately.

CONCESSIONS: Preparing food, cleaning, customer service, cash management, maintaining Clay County health codes, grilling food, stocking items, learning recipes and knowing how to prepare all items on the menu, wiping down tables by jump pillow and trash, changing the grease out, washing dishes using the 3 step process.

RETAIL: Checking out customers, assisting with carryout, keeping the retail tent tidy, restocking items, welcoming guest and answering any questions they may have, attending the mum field and lost preventions management. Checking for rotten pumpkin, dusting, must have basic knowledge of items we sell and how to use/cook them.

TICKETING: Welcoming customers, selling admissions, answering questions, helping customers with lost/found, answering phones, empty office trash, responsible for cash register, being aware of all product and workings of the farm, upselling.

TRACTOR DRIVERS: Safely driving customers, unloading and loading customers, if you are not busy – watch corn pit and cow train, maintain tractors, product and farm knowledge to help assist any customers with questions, cleaning out cabs, cleaning out trailer.

TOUR GUIDES:  Greeting student and teachers staff, knowledge of the farm and all the workings, educating students, engaging students, safety at all stations, encouraging positive behavior, redirecting negative behavior. Communications with teacher/leader.

PARTY COORDINATOR/HOST: Getting party tent/campfires ready, greet party guest, collect money, assist party goers to tent, party boxes, check on guest, make sure the FF Fairy visits, assist loading, prepare area for next event, pick up trash, wipe tables. Delivery of catered food.

ENTERTAINERS: Your job is to entertain guest, try to maintain character at all times. As a general rule you should not touch a child or guest. Instead, hold out your own hand and allow the child to decide whether or not to touch you. You will frequently will be asked to pose for a picture with customers and their children.

GATE GREETER: Have a welcoming smile, check wristbands for admittance, lost prevention, answer customer’s questions, promote the day’s events.  Greet Everyone!

EMT: Respond to injuries of customers, provide first aid or emergency service as needed, log injuries in incidental book.
